Pay is great and leadership is flexible but the best reason is a consistent demonstration of community care through donations, community service, and fundraising. All of this is shared with the employees so that we know how much we are helping our community.

Cons

Non-profit healthcare work isn't always happy stories. You will have to endure some of the harshest realities of community health.

I heard and saw how organized and caring the staff here and the overall system is excellent as my wife does her cancer treatment here. I will always recommend to anyone to come to Gundersen for their healthcare needs.

Cons

lots of snow during the winter season but that was always manageable as it was plowed regularly.
