Pros

Nice offices and good perks (this should be standard though). My direct manager and team were lovely.

Cons

Micro managed from leadership, teams often stopped in their tracks or months of work pulled because someone 'had an opinion'. Low pay compared to the industry Large redundancies on multiple occasions Financial planning abysmal - had to pay for own company trips to events due to too much budget being spent in other departments Toxic environment with low morale Everything is for social media show/fame. Lack of understanding of who the customer is and the overall direction of the company.

Poor pay, good benefits

Pros

Benefits are good, people are nice and friendly, offices are modern

Cons

Pay is well below market value - lean on “company culture” as a selling point to underpay Habit of restructuring regularly and making redundancies so unstable long term Lack of progression with a tendency to hire external rather than promote within

Pros

- Nice office & facilities - Good perks - Ambitious strategy - Staff welfare

Cons

- Invisible seniors (The Ben’s boys club claim is very true) who are too comfortable in their role as they probably know they’re under qualified and wouldn’t land a role elsewhere of same seniority. The brunt of which ends up falling on those lower down the structure. - Inconsistent messaging from Chiefs on performance. - Awful internal governance (rumours of them going public a few years ago are laughable after seeing how it operates day to day) - Brand is EVERYTHING and is put before actual performance. - Seeing the video of Ben on his nans sewing machine and hearing the story about him being a pizza boy at every given opportunity… - The product, some designs are a horror show and there is a big disparity in price compared to quality. - No accountability or ownership and errors are never learned from. - Some people jobs genuinely sound made up. - Limited progression. - Chief of Brand seems to just be Gymsharks internal influencer determined to be the face of the company
