      Pros

      Benefits, pay. But it's not worth the toxic work environment.

      Cons

      The workplace is highly toxic, with managers playing favorites and discriminating against employees who dare to challenge them. Concerns about workplace conditions and fairness are routinely ignored. The culture feels juvenile and unprofessional, like being stuck in a high school drama. Hard work is not rewarded unless you're in management's inner circle.

      IPM expectations were nearly impossible to meet as large orders necessitated a bagger, which I almost never had. Barcodes often did not work, making things worse. Check stand could never be cleaned properly during the day because of the constant stream of people. Cleaning was only surface level at closing. The only time I ever saw the stands get a deep clean was during the start of COVID. They were disgusting. Not many hours were given and they changed the policy to be competitive, which meant that because I was almost always alone on the stand and having to check slowly, I received even fewer hours. No benefits of course.

      Very culty. Digital management has very little experience outside HEB.
