      Pros

      Smart Tax Pros who have deep knowledge of the tax laws and are some of the nicest people around. They really strive to delivery their value and take care of clients. Best customer service of any retailer I have worked for.

      Cons

      Expectations of 80 hour weeks year around, not just tax season. No time off ever, work 24/7. District Managers do not adequately train staff, you must figure out everything on your own. The company does have great tools for training for this position, we did not utilize. Too long of staff meetings with little accomplished; Friday nights 4-9pm to watch movies. Long 12 hours meetings that maybe have 2 hours of content. The urgent changes daily.

      Pros

      I worked with some of the best people dedicated to helping clients, clients who appareciated your help in that respect it was quite rewarding.

      Cons

      I worked for a Franchise the pay nor the benefits were good and management failed to provide proper feedback went many years without so much as an evaluation.

      Pros

      Communication seems to be the highlight of this experience. Management at all levels seems afraid to commit to new ideas at any level due to cost and personnel cutting. Everyone seems to be just hanging on as long as they can.

      Cons

      Career opportunities are limited as this company has downsized over 20% in past year. Everyone seems to feel that they are on thin ice and afraid to make decisions. Many of the top people have no field experience with the company and it shows. Many have come from the outside.
