Pros

Great place to start a long aviation career. Opportunity for training and progression to get A&P license. Everyone is friendly here.

Cons

Pay isn't bad but could be better. PTO policy must be revised, if there isn't work don't take PTO! Technology could be updated.

Thank you for noting HAECO’s commitment to enable career progression for our valued team members. We strive to create an environment where employees are in the driver’s seat for their career. Please connect with the local LCQ HR team to discuss your concerns about the PTO policy. Employees are not required to use their PTO if there is not work available, we want to ensure all employees understand this policy clearly.

Pros

An outstanding place to gain hands-on aviation experience with commercial aircraft, backed by a strong and credible reputation. With long-standing partnerships with many domestic carriers, this organization fosters a positive and enduring industry presence. Unlike a production-driven environment, employees here are constantly challenged with new opportunities, promoting continuous growth and development.

Cons

There have been mixed reviews regarding wages at HAECO Americas. Some employees have noted that pay rates are lower than industry standards, particularly for A&P mechanics and technicians. Others have mentioned that while the company provides valuable experience, compensation does not always reflect the level of expertise required. Additionally, some reviews highlight concerns about limited pay raises and career advancement opportunities, making long-term retention challenging. However, others appreciate the steady work and training opportunities available, especially for those looking to build experience in aviation maintenance.
