Pros
Working in the ER is a great team effort. The doctors and nurses work well together to take care of patients. The doctors are very open to nursing suggestions, and always treat nurses with respect. Each team member contributes to patient care, you never feel like you are alone. The management team shows that they care by rounding on patients on a daily basis and making changes based on that feedback. You often see management talking individually with staff to ask them questions about them. Also they have a fun committee to keep team building. The doctors are also very good to nurses and take us out to keep us close and team building. Great environment to work in. I have no intentions of leaving any time soon!
