Charge RN in my specialty always has an assignment no different than other nurses on floor.

Good communication DOES NOT EXIST...or what little there is between upper management and employees is only what Management "Wants" employees to "think". Basically schmoozing and not truly doing anything they promise...its all an act. True quality patient care is provided by the underlings in order to "drive" RVUs for the Providers even though PATIENT CARE is supposedly HCA's mission statement. Employees are REPLACEABLE and Management does NOT even try to obtain raises for Dedicated long time employees (the yearly few cents per hour raise DOES NOT even come anywhere near True cost of living adjustments. Employees are not given a true raise even for their long term dedication to the quality patient care or even in order to "keep" the good quality employees.
