Working at a client site feels like you're in a grey area with this company, as the communication is non existent until you are 2 days away from a compliance deadline they forgot to tell you about 2 weeks ago.

Management is either non-existent or makes false promises to get you 'in the door'. There are no raises from start date, even after 3 years of employment. I was hired by a sub contractor and then after 1 year, I had to take a reduction in pay to keep the position I had. When review time comes around, management does not perform them one-on-one, but rather fill out the reviews only to never see them. Very slick managers that will do whatever is necessary to cover themselves and place blame on those under them that are doing the 'real' work.
