      IT Enterprise Helpdesk for Anthem Employees

      Nice pretty Atrium Building to walk into

      They will throw you on the phones for about 4 weeks on the Anthem project to try you out, you will take back to back calls, create tickets,and try to soak in all the end user issues that you are totally clueless about, this company provides no end user training on Anthem's systems and or applications. Within your 4 week period they will evaluate you based on you performance. After your 4 week period is over, and if you have a performance score of 86% or higher, they will either cancel your contract or move you to the dungeon. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU DESPERATELY NEED A PAYCHECK

      Pros

      You get a decent Health package and the 401k matching is nice. There are plenty of online resources available for eLearning and advancing your own skills.

      Cons

      Getting assistance from peers and senior management on unclear tasks is often difficult. Often placed on a new project that may or may not have anything to do with what you were originally hired for.

      Pros

      Excellent Benefits and pay. They give good stipends for oncall, internet, cell phone. Health benefits are AMAZING!

      Cons

      Horrible, horrible HR, and the contract I worked on was horribly managed. Sales guys promised too much that the operations side couldn't keep SLA's.
