The work experience and career growth depends on the project you get into and as a fresher you don't have freedom to choose the project in big company like HCL. But, you will get to know the entire software life cycle and professional environment.

Cons

Salary is well below average, very minimal increments unless you got an onsite opportunity. Job allocation for fresher's is the worst, people from CS go to testing projects, EEE,ECE graduates are assigned development sometimes.

Lot of projects available. Nice work culrure, Work pressure is minimal. Different technologies to choose from.

Cons

Very difficult to move to different project. Managers will frustate if you want to relase from project.. Hikes not even equal to Indian service based MNCs

Occassional Onsite exposure with some good projects to work on

Cons

Worst payers in the market, with low or no salaries hike. Huge Internal politics. Non technical managers. Worst Management as per industry standard. Bad Architects, Solution Architects who can make simplest of projects in to nightmares.
