Pros

Early Industry Exposure: Joining HCL through the TechBee program provided me with immediate immersion into real-world projects, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge practically soon after completing my 12th grade. Structured Training Modules: The program offers a comprehensive training curriculum that builds a strong technical foundation, preparing participants for various roles within the company. Financial Independence: Receiving a stipend during the training period enabled me to manage my expenses independently, reducing financial reliance on my family. Seamless Transition to Full-Time Role: Post-training, I was smoothly integrated into a full-time position, with opportunities to work on diverse projects and further develop my skills. Higher Education Opportunities: HCL's partnerships with esteemed institutions like BITS Pilani, Amity University, and IIT Guwahati offer avenues to pursue higher education alongside work, enhancing both academic and professional growth.

Cons

From my personal experience, I haven't encountered significant drawbacks. However, some participants have noted that the program's intensity requires strong time management skills to balance work and study commitments effectively.

Pros

I'm part of HCL's TechBee program, which means I took a slightly different path than most people my age. Instead of going straight to college, I chose to start my tech career right after high school and honestly, it's been one of the best decisions I've made. The program gave me solid training, not just in technical skills but in how to work in a real corporate environment. Now, I'm working full-time at HCL Technologies, learning from actual projects, earning my own income, and even studying for a degree alongside. It's not always easy, but it's exciting to be ahead of the curve to be doing work that matters, while most people are still figuring out what comes next. TechBee gave me a head start, and I'm just getting started.

Cons

Balancing a full-time job with studying for a degree can get overwhelming at times, and it definitely requires good time management and discipline. Jumping into a real work environment early means the learning curve can feel steep, and sometimes I've felt the pressure to keep up with colleagues who have more experience. Also, the role i started with wasn't exactly what I had dreamed of initially, but I understand that growth takes time and effort. And honestly, sometimes people don't fully realize the value of a TechBee's skills until you show them what you're capable of. Overall, it's a journey that pushes me to keep learning and growing every day.
