Pros

Get paid OT at 1.5. Great outlook. Receive promotions fast if you kiss up. Tuition reimbursement, CPA bonus.

Cons

Although not big as the big four, politics are definitely like big four. Everyone above you acts like they own you. Training could be better. Almost have to be kissing up to the partners for continous promotions. Partners are from big four, that is why the culture at the firm is of the big four. The firm advertises "people" but really the people are all the same. The busy season could get really bad with the hours depending on your office location. Health insurance is terrible. PTO is very low for 1-5 year employees. Managers do not think for themselves and want staff to their job for them. There is an absence of communication, especially between 1-2 year staff and managers. Low salary but with OT equal out to market.

Pros

Casual Environment Fun events, great coworkers Good trainings Flexible schedule Paid overtime Tons of free food Management typically takes time to make sure you understand the project/client you're working on. You have some say in what way your career heads. Not really any stressful budgets in the OC office. Management is willing to listen to your advice on improvements.

Cons

Lots of OT (but paid 1.5x) throughout the year.

Pros

Several office locations, so you can live close to where you work.

Cons

Poor training of new staff. Rude seniors and managers who don't help you grow. Unbearable busy season with an average of 70-80 hours a week. Work 7 days a week for about 5 to 6 months out of the year. Very high turnover.
