      Pros

      HDR wins project so you will have work

      Cons

      Too much bureaucracy and very poor company culture. Staff is not friendly and project managers are not qualified with significant communication barriers. Cut throat atmosphere with unwelcoming staff and close to zero guidance. Sink or swim mentality so don't expect much "support" or mentorship. Accept offer if you have nothing else.

      Pros

      Huge company, access to large firms and how they work. Wide array of experience for architecture and engineering staff. They are nice to their acquisitions... for a while.

      Cons

      Treats their IT staff as a police force to enforce senseless policies. Non-HQ offices are treated as fourth class citizens by the royalty in Omaha.

      Pros

      It is an excellent company to work for. They have a a lot of government contracts, so the work is steady if you're willing to relocate. They promote, great 401k, and they pay well

      Cons

      They want PE licenses from everyone. They are heavy into transportation, so if you do not have a good transportation background, they may let you go.
