-Management was wildly inconsistent while one supervisor repeatedly called an employee “useless” in front of others, while another yelled and cursed about staff in a different language. A cook was referred to as a “warm body” just to fill a role, showing blatant disregard for employees’ value. -The culture was equally bad. Some male coworkers made crude, sexual comments about female colleagues, including whistling and whispering “damn,” even discussed a list of female coworkers they’d “sleep with” creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. -One coworker put a roach in another’s drink, nearly causing fights, yet faced no serious consequences even though they said they were going to find out who did it and they have cameras in the kitchen. -Work demands were excessive for low pay, with promised raises never delivered, even for long-term staff. Double shifts were scheduled without employee consent, leading to burnout. -Favoritism was rampant, with troublemakers often protected. -Shockingly, an employee known to drink on the job was kept on for far too long, despite multiple HR complaints, and was only fired once a replacement was found. -The only positive was a few hardworking coworkers, but they were unfortunately drowned out by the toxic environment.
