Pros

Great staff. Salary is competitive. Paid overtime is fantastic.

Cons

Typically not supportive or understanding of the urban planning profession given that HNTB is an engineering firm first and foremost. Hard to attract visibility to your work within the company. High thresholds for contract amounts make it difficult to do planning work unless under a larger engineering contract.

Very Disappointing - Senior Project Analyst

Good benefits. High $$. I had to think about 20 words to thing about Pros but that is all I came up with.

Cons

Lack of training. Over exaggerated job position at interview. Was told a team environment was in place but found out there was no cohesion among the team and everyone was on their own. Office staff was a cut throat environment.
