That means dev work is never stagnant and I get to work on new things every day. - Welcoming atmosphere. From the CEO to the interns, every single person is friendly and committed to to the success of the company. I feel welcome asking for help or initiating collaboration on a feature. Management is very understanding as well. - A commitment to good software engineering practices. Unmaintainable spaghetti-code is not acceptable at this company. Everyone is encouraged to do their best work and extra effort is spent on creating a maintainable product. This also means that it is very easy to integrate yourself as a new engineer - Working here has been a great learning experience. More senior level engineers are always passing on their knowledge to newer employees. - Low level network programming. I really enjoyed low level programming in college. Low level network programming is this company's bread and butter so it was a great match.
