Pros

PTO, workout facility, location

Cons

Terrible communication. No recognition. Every one is unprofessional and has a bad attitude. Rude managers that are unwilling to help or listen to any issues you bring up.

Pros

Apparently the benefits are good and most of your co-workers are what keeps people there. If you happen to have one of the few good managers who actually looks out for their employees, then you will be shielded from most of the crap that goes on. If you love playing the game of office politics, then this is the match for you.

Cons

The lack of communication between upper management and those who actually do the work astounds me. Internally there are so many good employees who want to provide excellent service for the clients of HSA Bank, yet it is stifled and pushed aside by those above. I have experienced that it doesn't matter how high of quality of work you produce, or even how well of metrics you have, as long as you rub someone in upper management the wrong way, you will suffer and see no chance for growth. All upper management wants is a bunch of "yes" men who say or do anything for self promotion.

Pros

People are nice to work with as long as you are not trying to bring in a change for the better; fast growing company; great niche business area. They provide free flavored coffee and tea!

Cons

It is small company that is growing but they still act as a small company. The people are resistant to change. Bringing any changes meets with very emotional and vocal resistance from the people who have been working with the company for longer duration. All their processes (technical and management) suit small business with 20 employees but not a company. They are seriously understaffed. This is the kind of company you want to join because you don’t have a job while you are looking for a job at a better company. This company is like revolving door; people join and leave quickly.
