      You work very hard for not much recognition. They will always find a way to ask you to do more without compensation.

      Pros

      I love the people I work with, everyone works hard and tries to make the best of things. Hackensack has a great name so it's well recognized.

      Cons

      Lack of recognition and more and more expectations of nursing staff. They may have the best rating but it still treats staff not so well.

      Close to home. Pay is alright I wish i can say something nice about this place but i cant think of anything.

      Cons

      Not enough breaks to finish your lunch, very stressful department, people are quitting and not been replace. It used to be a nice place to work

      Nurses are not well compensated 12hours shift break to short only 30mins Below industry standards The gym owned by hackensack needs to be discounted more for employees Promotion from within using meritocracy needs to start STAT Self scheduling needs to be done in action not in word supervisors are switching days for RNs without their consent
