Pros
A lot of times, you'll start at a new company and they give you all the pamphlets and show you all the videos telling you why they're so amazing and why you should work for them and that they are happy that you are there. With Half Price Books, I feel like they stand by what they have told me. They seem to truly care about their employees, the public that they serve, and what they are contributing to the community.
Cons
As far as I have seen, there are no obvious cons to working for Half Price Books. I am glad to have found a place that I truly want to work.
