      Pros

      So many books to peruse and so many great people to share your interests with. Decent benefits, at the time even offering health benefits and profit share bonuses to part-time as well as full-time employees.

      Cons

      The district and regional management, as I think with most people in these positions, are often out of touch. There is not enough clear communication between levels of the organization/management. As with all retail, low pay for the amount of abuse and effort asked.

      Pros

      The environment was great because of the coworkers I had at the time. We all got along really well and were able to communicate in a functional manner.

      Cons

      The amount of work you have to do is not sufficient for the amount of pay you receive. You are constantly working by lugging around boxes of books and the retail side of the work can be very exhausting.
