Fun employees, easy enough job, horrible management and training.

Pros

Great health benefits. Paid vacation. Paid sick time. Quarterly bonuses when available. Employees can become like your second family. Easy enough job. Hard to get fired unless you really really try.

Cons

High turn over rate for my store. Management is not professional. Horrible training. Takes forever for them to give you a raise/a review if they even get to do one. Communication between managers is bad. Retail schedule that changes frequently. Incompetent employees. The manager has a track record of hiring bad employees. Doesn't take sexual harrassment seriously.

Pros

Very casual dress/hair policy, hard to get fired once you are past your intro period, vacation and sick time accumulates fast. Yearly raises.

Cons

The usual retail customer annoyances plus managers that are not very involved and are therefore unaware of problems and not very open to solving them. Not much room to move.
