Pros

Good place to work with interesting, demanding roles. It is nice to work in an industry that is growing.

Cons

Bad locations and long hours. I did not like working 12 to 18 hour days but it is the nature of the industry.

Lab Troubles

Business Outlook

Pros

Decent pay along with ok benefits and somewhat relaxed attitudes about punctuality and a hands off approach in the lab.

Cons

Lack of team cohesion, large amounts of internal politics, big attitudes leading to big conflicts, lack of support from management and engineering staff. Outdated or faulty equipment leading to bad or hard to obtain data. Hours can be rough on social life, overnights and evening shifts possible.
