Pros

Guaranteed 40 hrs or more a week. The benefits are very good but I would have expected Halliburton to cover more of the plan cost. Uniforms are provided. Advancement Opportunites are ample.

Cons

Early days and late nights. You are always on call. Though advancement opportunites are ample, there is alot of red tape to deal with. Pay is not as they make it seem when you initially hire on. You only receive Per Diem if you go off the clock. You actually loose money by claiming per diem for breakfast, lunch and midnight meal.

Pros

The company has a good name in the oilfield services. A good place to learn a lot about this field.

Cons

Pay is not reasonable at all and there is no coherence in the actions taken by the lower management although senior management looks to be working hard..

Pros

Time off when needed. Competitive salary. Opportunity for growth. Don't spend much time in the office (to some could be a con)

Cons

Can be long hours and it there is extended time away from home. Work is sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
