Pros
Not a place for 9 to 5 ers.
If you're willing to really invest in the product and test your limits then you'll be a great fit. This company is home to extremely talented, self-motivated, and passionate individuals. It was humbling and refreshing, to say the least. Before I started working at Spiritclips, I had experience, but didn't know how to apply the knowledge in a meaningful way. Working here will make you grow - from technical skill sets to emotional intelligence. I'll admit, the workload was intense during the busy seasons. The team members make it worthwhile.
And the managers facilitate a warm, creative environment. They're personable and they kept a direct line of communication throughout my entire employment. I'm not sure if they'll be able to sustain that once the company becomes larger but I deeply appreciated that. They value and respect their employees' input. Everyone from Customer Care to the Lead Dev. This is extremely rare in a corporate environment. I don't expect to get that anywhere else.
Not to mention, we work hard and play hard: unlimited vacation, happy hours, company events, etc. Make the effort, you might make lifelong friends!
Cons
I would've liked working with the other teams and having a more unified structure.
