Pros

- People (who genuinely care about each other and the work) - Flexibility - Opportunity for progression - Benefits & Perks - Location - Volunteer & community engagement opportunities - In-house and external training and certification (Education reimbursement) - Super generous maternity/paternity leave (plus a very family oriented team!) - Opportunity to significantly contribute to the future of Hallmark and their digital transformation - Smaller tech company feel with the backing and support of a global enterprise

Cons

Transitioning from startup to an integrated subsidiary of a massive company can slow down access to certain tech tools etc. Although, this is improving all the time.

Pros

- VERY family friends - great maternity/paternity policy and flexible with work from home - Compensation and benefits are really good - 401k match - Stocked kitchen and lots of catered meals - Fun outings a few times a year. - Cell and fitness reimbursement - Lots of investment in tech and new technology right now

Cons

- Growing fast so it can be a bit stressful here and there. - Lots of things (and technologies) changing right now so it's sometimes a steep learning curve.

A Great Place to Work with Continuous Growth and Massive Potential

Pros

Amazing company perks like flexible PTO, work from home opportunities, professional development via conference/workshops, great compensation and health insurance plans, etc. Fully-stocked kitchen. Many social or networking events like happy hours, women in tech, and even community service. Direction of company is becoming more clear, geared toward tech. Managers are hard working and passionate about their roles. A lot of very intelligent and inspiring Labsters!

Cons

The flip side of company direction becoming more clear is that there is more emphasis and attention on tech, and less on other departments that are also contributing a lot to the company. Core Staff do not take criticism very well, Q&A sessions feel more defensive and not as transparent as they make it out to be.
