Pros

THE PEOPLE! Can't stress that enough, the peers that I work with are amazing.

Cons

Not a fan of RTO - Handshake is a sinking ship and exec seem to think bringing people back in office is the solution, it's not. It's "only 3 times a week" but I'm willing to bet by 2024 it's going to be 5 days a week. By then, I hope the company will experience more burn and churn.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Like you, we think that our people are our best asset, and we know there is wide appreciation for the flexibility that working from home offers. While certain teams have been going into the office more regularly, others continue to operate in a distributed manner – it all depends on the function and the work. We know that in person work versus remote is a topic that inspires a lot of opinions, and both have their pros and cons.

Pros

Incompetence Everywhere: From the C-suite to middle management, incompetence runs deep. It's astonishing how such ineptitude has been allowed to fester.

Cons

The office is a breeding ground for negativity, fueled by stress, micromanagement, and a complete lack of appreciation for employees' efforts.

Toxic workplace culture. Buggy product.

Pros

Unlimited PTO. Friendly and engaging teammates (co-workers, not managers).

Cons

Terrible compensation increases (or none at all). Feels like a popularity contest, some extreme examples of favoritism. Extremely ambiguous and random product changes. Product is extremely buggy. Management is not empathetic at all. They consistently hire externally and do not promote their hardest and most deserving workers.
