      Pros

      Mission that truly makes an impact, supportive team members, lots of opportunities to grow and develop. Lots of exciting growth coming over the next year+!

      Cons

      Sometimes it can be hard to keep up on all of the information moving around the company - especially things happening on teams other than your own. Transparency is good but continuing to refine how that gets shared out in a digestible way would be helpful!

      Pros

      Handshake is the best company I have worked for in the Bay Area in terms of culture. People are genuinely happy at this company, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. I can honestly say that they care about their employees (even contract workers are treated just like everyone else). Overall just a joy to come to work everyday with the people who work here.

      Cons

      There are many areas where the company can improve efficiency and workflows. It's a startup so there are still things that were built when the company was a handful of people that need to be scaled. I'll also say there are a lot of meetings to encourage culture, but they can feel excessive at times.

      Pros

      Incredibly talented team that really shares each others burdens. Egos don't thrive here. Great culture and leadership is genuinely connected to it's employees. Our CEO will literally walk through the office and make every single new hire know he's happy they're here. Our customers love Handshake and really think of us as revolutionary to their businesses.

      Cons

      Don't work here if you love being comfortable. You're going to be challenged - almost daily.
