      - Direct manager clearly communicates their expectations and offers useful, timely feedback. - Company leadership is unified and transparent about ultimate goals. - Mental health and work/life balance are taken seriously -- folks are encouraged to take time off when they need it, and teammates support each other when someone needs to take time away to recharge. - Everyone truly cares about the mission.

      Cons

      - It's a startup, so expect to hustle and expect to grind sometimes. - Handshake is a complex product because it has multiple verticals and customer bases, so the ramp in the beginning is steep. - Getting promoted/leveling up can take a long time.

      I've been able to learn an incredible amount from a wide variety of mentors and friends that I have made during my time at Handshake. They have also invested in me, getting me personal coaching to help me grow. This has been the best career move I have ever made.

      Cons

      You have to speak up and advocate for what you want and need; this is a fast-growing company with high expectations.
