Pros

Employees were nice, appreciated the hard work managers and supervisors put in, and they would help out hourly's when busy.

Cons

low pay, long hours, very basic benefits, poor incentives, dirty trailers, the most unsafe warehouse I have encountered, a very high turnover rate, I imagine they spend quite a lot on training people who don't stay more than a couple of months.

Pros

Flexibility - I can arrive when I need to and leave when I need to so long as I put in at least 45-50 hours. Encourages feed back even if slow to act on the big stuff. Fairly fun atmosphere (but no cool Seattle-esq perks.) Free food once a month. Growing quickly so there's room to advance.

Cons

Harbor is quick to extol the fact that they are a family company... but the "family" is so insular, if you aren't an Erickson, you're not really family. The size of the company no longer fits those shoes. There is too much emphasis on using/over using current staff and not wanting to spend $ to hire enough employees to take the burden off the current ones. 6 day weeks are COMMON. Taking shorter days to compensate for long weeks or late nights is very frowned upon.
