Pros
Transparency - All Hands for every 15 days with CEO, CFO & CTO. The data always speaks the truth and everyone can get a sense of direction company is going towards.
Culture & Human Values - This Covid possibly brought the worst challenges to every company out there. Harness is no different. But you will realise the true company culture & values during the crisis. The company management listened to the employees feedback and did better than what any company possibly can do. IMO, this is probably makes this place great and takes harness to next level.
Talent - Very much surprised to see the amount of talent at harness disposal.I must say the hiring so far is really top notch. [ Well they hired me, so (Pun intended... :))
Team - I see great team work everywhere. every person i interacted so far has a great sense of ownership and love towards company success. BLR team is really a close nit.
US Team - Full of subject matter experts. they are well aware of in & out of complete harness codebase. if you are getting interview scheduled from anyone in US, be aware that it wont be a typical hiring manager round that you see in other Indian companies.
Benefits - Along with usual perks, i have to highlight 2 things. Company decided to provide 500 USD worth for WFH program during covid19. Company also decided to give one friday in every month as mandatory holiday to give relief from WFH stress. The benefits are definitely designed by keeping employee satisfaction & welfare in the mind.
In summary, harness has a great product at hand and talent to deliver. being part of management team, i can say that company really cares about the employees. But Covid is really challenging everyone out there. Indian households which are not designed for WFH setup causing lot more issues. cant wait for offices to reopen and meet all these amazing people.
