Pros

Great location if you are interested in down town NYC

Cons

Politics among the executive leadership disruptive to the teams moral. Career advancement based strictly on relationships. E.g. undermining your teammates and supervisors in order to advance ones own career is encouraged and supported by the organization.

Pros

HarperCollins Children's Books has an incredibly rich history, and publishes some of the classics of children's literature.

Cons

The division sometimes feels like it functions as a machine--feels like you're just a cog there to get a job done--though that seems to be slowly changing for the better.
