Pros

Colleagues are great, decent benefits, salaries aren’t as low as some other publishers.

Cons

Play favorites for promotions rather than based on quality of work, “merit” increases are tiny and they don’t increase pay for cost of living inflations. Executives are out of touch.

Pros

the health insurance options were great and affordable

Cons

pay is low if you're expected to be in office in NYC and it takes years and years to see any kind of upward mobility
