Pros

- Great Work Life balance when you aren't management or SME - Lots of turn over in the high management positions, so there is room to grow - Work isn't too difficult, but can be time consuming - Fantastic PTO benefits

Cons

- Money is terrible for the region - Yearly raises are not guaranteed, and are based on "performance" but all employees get the same increase each year regardless of the work they completed - The few employees with a desire to get the work done right are left doing all the work, while other employees are getting paid the same amount to do nothing

Excellent Colleagues and First-Level Management

Pros

I reported directly to ethical, realistic but not complacent managers. Colleagues were very respectful but not disingenuous. The team was incredibly reliable but set meaningful boundaries The work was very creative and interesting and not just solving the same problems of every large publisher.

Cons

Director level management was unfortunately less fastidious about decision making and messaging. Many of the large initiatives failed, not on merit, but mismanagement at the director and VP level. Compensation was not unfair, but below market for technology-heavy positions.
