Pros

Great colleagues, everyone loves books and publishing.

Cons

Upper management is very siloed, difficult to get information shared to lower levels, and doesn’t seem to take all employees into consideration when making company decisions like remote work programs, salaries of entry level, etc.

Pros

Engaged management, competitive pay, good benefits, decent amount of PTO. Overall awesome place to work.

Cons

While not a con if you’re in it for the long run, and the employee retention speaks wonders for the work environment, there is limited shorter term upward mobility. Most individuals that come here tend stay and managers have 20-30yrs at the company.
