Pros

Great people, great books, great authors!

Cons

Salary isn't the most competitive in the industry, and when the pay floor was raised for new hires, those in roles a few rungs up did not have their salaries adjusted accordingly. Promotions seemed a bit illogical at times. Unless you were an extroverted bestie with the department heads you were likely to be looked over. Feedback is often inconsistent and sporadic.

Pros

Free books, lovely people, pretty standard finance responsibilities to give a good foundation into a career in commercial finance but not overly taxing: good work-life balance.

Cons

Salary is a bit weak versus other industries and progression can be a bit of a battle/pot luck.
