      The company is only concerned about profitability

      Pros

      The company is profitable and will stay that way until their ability to buy smaller companies and use their customer base to their advantage.

      Cons

      They cut everything to become profitable; employees, support, research, sales, management, etc... The result is they over promise and under deliver. Existing customers are a commodity that they milk for as long as they can because of the expense for the customer to switch to a different product. Toxic work environment with a lot of angry customers. Only way to excel at this company is to get promoted to a senior-level position in mergers and acquisitions.

      Can’t think of a specific downside as the industry is built on changing priorities and any successful company must learn to embrace change.
