The management team overall is undesirable in that most are unqualified & are placed in leadership positions based on who they know. There is high turnover & when most people leave they have no desire to return.

Yes, you have 8 holidays off. But employer doesn't pay you for them. You have to USE YOUR OWN PTO (paid time off aka vacation time) to pay for your holidays. That is beyond ridiculous. That isn't what I would consider a "benefit" of the job. I have never heard of a job that makes you use your own PTO to pay for your holiday off. Over a year's period, that is 64 hrs of PTO, almost 2 weeks worth. I would much rather go use it all at one time to take a nice relaxing vacation.
