It's horrible... this place. At least for the IT analysts.
Pros
Your paycheck clears? There are some good people that work here. Smart, dedicated, fun people. The pay is okay. They have given a few inexperienced people a chance to work in an in-demand field, but have reaped the benefits of their hunger to excel.
Cons
There are also some pretty nasty, backstabbing people that work here. And once you're in, what it takes to move up is anyone's guess. You can ask leadership and hear something that makes it sound like you still have a while to go… and then someone else gets hired or promoted into the position that is in the same predicament as you. If you’re cute, perky, and flirty... or african american... your chances improve though. There is an old guard that really needs to be shown the door. Only doing enough to hang on to their jobs, but otherwise pushing as much work as possible onto the new folks, not to give them learning opportunities, but out of laziness.
