Not long hours, work life balance good, take off when necessary for appointments and children's school events.
Cons
Staff not expected to respect management or staff in other departments and allowed to treat others with total disregard and disdain resulting in hostile work environment, no teamwork, exclusive work events and fear based work atmosphere. Management fears staff with longevity will quit when reality is it is all a threat and the ones threatening that are truly replaceable because they don't actually know their jobs, they just put on a good front for management. This all leads to constant disruption of workflow, gossip in corners, low moral due to fear and very unprofessional behavior including rude remarks made to other employees in and out of the department which escalates into fighting and discrimination.
