Stuck in Their Ways, Little Hope for Change

Pros

Competitive salary and full time benefits. Harris gets awarded really interesting projects.

Cons

There are many things that made going to work everyday a miserable experience. The work environment is stuffy and bland. My experience was quite in-line with what you would expect of a company that is stuck in the '80's, male dominated leadership, gossipy administrative team and zero room for fun it seems. Executive leadership is trying to change the culture, but is struggling to get buy-in from the rest of the company, likely because it doesn't seem like leadership is truly embracing the changes they're trying to make. Executive leadership is also extremely forward about their political beliefs, which made for an uncomfortable work environment. Management is not flexible when it comes to work/life balance. Communication that comes from leadership is not transparent and disorganized, which makes it hard to see the bigger picture.

Thank you for sharing. This is a very exciting time for Harris as we have made a conscious effort to create positive changes with our OneHarris brand both externally to our clients as well as internally with our team members. We’ve invested a lot of time in this endeavor and while it may not always go as perfectly as we hope, we’re excited about the path we are on and we are committed to this new culture, which begins with our executive leadership. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
