Harris Teeter reviews

Harris teeter works part time associates to death to save money. They say they cap part time hours at 28/ week, however multiple times now I have worked 35 hours/ week at PART TIME PAY. Bonus checks are just a little extra cash seeing as they're taxed 40%. Most departments are understaffed. Raises are non-existent. One associate is chosen to receive a gift card once every 3 months. Many associates are unhappy. Management expects 30 hours of work to be complete in a 5 hour shifts and reprecussions occur when you don't finish. Worst working experience.

Lack of training. Poor dessimination of information from corporate to store management, then from store management down. Associates are frequently not held accountable for poor work ethic/job performance/failure to follow proscribed standards ect. which creates animosity between associates and also causes hard working associates to consistantly have to pick up the slack. "Associate Discounts" are a joke.
