Pros

Two cafe's each with hi tech coffee machines that can also make latte's/hot chocolate. state of the art envelope filler but would constantly get jammed and only one paged documents could be used but still cool. Some of your coworkers Casual Fridays Before my boss got hired their boss gave me a gift card for Christmas

Cons

Benefits team not the best You get a stipend for parking but I had to walk 3 blocks to and from because the garage in the building had tight spaces and always really packed No promoting within unless you're already in management. If you don't get selected for a internal position you're not even told Micromanagement You can put in a ton of hours but have an emergency? Personal matters? Vacation? May get an okay but then they act like you're at fault for taking your time off. Under appreciated for all the work one puts in I felt like I was the manager and my boss was more like a puppy who never enforced the rules or backed up the team when asking for their help All of management was rude to people in lower positions. Definitely took on additional work load and never offered a promotion or a raise. If they see you're willing to put in the hours then they start expecting that to always be the case and when you have school or other engagements after work that require to leave on time they give an attitude. OT was something that was allowed when I started because it was a mess from the turnover - once that got caught up if you needed to stay late that meant Friday was an early release BUT I was always asked to stay to help finish because my boss couldn't properly manage his time but would get mad if technical issues kept me from being able to finish my heavy workload. I was only one reporting to the office for my team and when they hired help to assist our department they were helping other departments instead of me and I also had to train them...

Pros

Having the role of a supervisor and not being able to perform your job because the immediate manager will give more authority to the housekeepers it does not

Cons

Having the role of a supervisor and not being able to perform your job because the immediate manager will give more authority to the housekeepers rather than you, but yet have expectations from you to manage the buildings is hands down the most tragic and sickening work environment you can think of. At this point I truly believe that they are very sexist and just because you are a women they make you feel so uneducated and unworthy. If you decide to reach out to HR the management will look at you as of you committed a crime and will lecture you for hours telling you how bad your actions were.
