Pros

An amazing place to work if you want to spend your days with very smart and highly engaged fellow employees. You will meet some amazing individuals.

Cons

While individual units are well run there is poor leadership and vision coming from the top as to how to compete in the future

Pros

In my program, the university attracts the top students in the field. Being a graduate student in the department exposes you to cutting-edge research in important fields.

Cons

It can be difficult to get professors to interact with you, so you need to be self-motivated. The physical facilities are not wel maintained.

Pros

This one of the top places in the world to do research. You can meet amazing people, talented and very smart.

Cons

Competition is fierce. Sometimes you find out about people's behaviors that go beyond healthy competition and just make you question if this represents how science is done nowadays.
