Pros

I absolutely love my job. I have amazing flexibility (working from home is permitted), I feel trusted and respected by those I work for and with, the work I do is stimulating and non-repetitive, and I have met several great friends and many great contacts at the school itself!

Cons

The work can be somewhat solitary, and if you aren't good at managing your time you may fall behind.

Pros

It's good to be able to work at a university with these resources, but getting the resources is very slow and difficult.

Cons

Harvard University is a very slow moving university. In order to get work done, you really need to work with your department and keep pressing for paperwork to go through.

Pros

I worked as a grader for a class at Harvard Extension School. The pro's are good pay, flexible hours, and grading is pretty easy.

Cons

Grading the exams required being present during them and then meeting up afterward to grade them. It is sometimes hard to coordinate with other graders' schedules.
