Great products and people, but old technology and conservative management

Pros

Great colleagues and very exciting product! I love the brands and the innovation, I was really passionate about what I was selling and marketing.

Cons

All systems are very old and slow, reports and analysis are done manually in many times. Top management tries to gain order and control over the situation, but this only leads to growing bureaucracy and rigidity.

Disappointingly corporate and very vanilla, not much diversity in terms of personnel or corporate culture.

Pros

Lots of community service opportunities, half days every Friday all year round, week off between Christmas and New Years, decent discount in the toy store

Cons

Not enough diversity. Very white work force in the main offices in Rhode Island. No minorities in Senior Management and only one woman (CFO). Too many people promoted into positions they for which they have limited or no experience. Not enough young people in positions of power. Very stagnant work force because people are rewarded for loyalty with promotions.
