Pros

Nice, casual culture. Excellent benefits and time off. Half-day Fridays. Management makes concerted effort to communicate vision and strategy, both when things are going well and not as well. Very family friendly.

Cons

Most decisions are financially driven, and Hasbro is a financially conservative company. Additional resources (people, time, budget) are extremely hard to come by. If you work in a small department, opportunities for advancement are hard to come by or non-existent. In these cases, the onus is placed on the you to network for other opportunities or figure out a way to create a new opportunity.

Pros

You are working with toys and goal is to bring job to kids. 15 days off and the office closes between xmas and New Years.

Cons

Outside of Hasbro there are few opportunities in Pawtucket for professionals and Boston is a long commute.
