Ok company, poor leadership

Pros

Flexible work hours, good pay, a lot of opportunity for career development, as long as you are willing to work for it. Some managers actually do care about their employees.

Cons

Pros are very dependent on your individual manager, so if you're lucky and report to someone decent you're in good shape. If not... Salary can be good, but only if you come in with a good starting salary as raises are pretty low and HR fights against significant changes. So if you start at the low end of the scale for your pay grade, you'll likely always be at the low end. And raises scale based on where you are in your pay grade, so if you do manage to get bumped higher in your grade range, they start cutting your end of year raises. Weak management team, from top to bottom. Executives make a lot of noise, but do not seem capable of managing their departments. Middle managers mostly do what middle managers do: Get in the way, try to prove that they are relevant, fail to add value. Direct supervisors don't want to hold people accountable because they don't want to deal with any sort of conflict. Lots of management, but very little leadership. Company Values feel like lip service to a marketing campaign. Actions speak louder than words.
