      If you like to work alot this is for you. If your looking to have a home life forget about it.

      Low pay, good ole boy club, very surprising to me the rate of 20 dollars an hour to drive lowbed and haul around million dollar equipment.

      Pros

      Hawthorne underwent some difficult times during 2008 and 2009 as a result of the economic downturn but has made a significant effort to improve employee morale. Compensation and benefits are fair. Hawthorne is the number one market share dealer in California and Hawaii. Mechanics are very talented.

      Cons

      Communication between departments is slow but improving. Economic downturns can be more significant than other industries but the worst seems to be over.
