A Decent Job

Pros

I have a great manager and colleagues in a smaller, lower-stress department. So far, my managers have been quite flexible as long as I get 40 hours a week in between 6 A.M. and 6 P.M.

Cons

Pay could be improved across the board and I wish paid holidays did not require PTO.

Pros

Great family atmosphere on the units Flexible schedule

Cons

Honestly, pays CNAs significantly less than nursing homes etc. also management just seems to need to be micromanaging every little thing. Very frustrating and makes it difficult to do your job to the best of your ability. Always understaffed. Frequently 1 CNA for 15+ patients.

Pros

They try to accept other ethnic and cultural groups

Cons

But they can over use their staff to the point of exhaustion. I can never work with regional hospitals again.
