Pros
Health-e Commerce is unlike any other company I've worked. We have evolved from start up culture to a mature organization while still having a team of nice people that work hard and have fun doing so. The work is career defining and the exposure to every level of the company is constant. HEC encourages employees to be involved in projects that would not be common at larger organizations and there is essentially no red tape. The cross-functional recognition through Bonusly is impressive and shows that employees have formed strong relationships even in a fully remote environment. The benefits are very competitive and the company offers flexible time off.
Cons
The company is still small by employee count and there is never a shortage of work to be done. Frequently feels like a 'grind' however the work is meaningful and important to the future growth of the business.
